Account Creators: When you register for Formtry, we collect your email address, authentication provider token (Google OAuth or Magic Link), and account settings. If you upgrade to Studio Pro or Atelier, payment information is processed directly by Stripe; we never store raw credit card numbers.

Form Respondents: When a respondent completes your form, Formtry stores only the specific form field entries requested by the creator (e.g., project budget, name, contact details). We do not record geolocation, device fingerprints, or browsing history.

We use collected information solely to:

• Render and publish your studio forms.
• Display form submissions in your private Response Inbox.
• Transmit webhook notifications to your designated services (e.g., Slack, Notion).
• Authenticate your identity and prevent fraudulent abuse.

We will never sell, rent, license, or disclose your submissions to third-party data brokers, advertising networks, or marketing aggregators.

Traditional captcha services (such as Google reCAPTCHA) often track users across thousands of websites to determine bot likelihood. Formtry uses an ethical, in-house honeypot architecture:

• We inject an invisible form field that human visitors cannot see, but automated web scrapers fill out.
• We analyze human typing cadence and submission timestamps.
• Spam bots are rejected instantaneously without tracking the user or presenting frustrating picture puzzles.

Regardless of your geographic location, Formtry respects all standard international data protection rights:

• Right of Access: You can export all forms and submissions at any time via 1-click CSV download.
• Right to Erasure (RTBF): Deleting a form or submission permanently removes it from production databases.
• Data Portability: You are never locked into our ecosystem; data can be exported to standard spreadsheet formats.
